The Hotel Baia Taormina, with its wide arches and pergolas, local stone cladding and Sicilian handcrafted terracotta finishes, rests on the cliff overlooking the bay of Taormina from which it takes its name. All rooms, with balcony or sun terrace, allow guests to relax while enjoying an unparalleled view of the bay. Two swimming pools, one of which with ornamental water features and two restaurant rooms overlooking the sea, a Wellness Centre and two conference rooms complete the offer. Sea and nature lovers can access the quiet, exclusive and private beach only 200 metres from the hotel via underpass. Nearby are diving, tennis, hang-gliding and paragliding schools, water skiing and surfing. Only thirty minutes away are the slopes of Mount Etna. A shuttle bus provided by the hotel takes guests to Taormina at scheduled times. The half board service, with buffet breakfast and buffet dinner that takes place at the Solemoro terrace with a spectacular view over the bay, will delight our Guests with tasty dishes that also draw on local traditions, leaving them plenty of time to relax and enjoy their holiday. And if you want to explore the beauty of the surroundings, the Hotel is just minutes away from Taormina and other beautiful locations in the eastern part of Sicily, and from small villages rich in nature, history, art and culture such as Forza D'Agrò and Savoca, where many scenes of Francis Ford Coppola's ‘The Godfather’ saga were filmed.
